PinkyParadise Review - Vassen Ruby Red

More than one way

So today I will be reviewing my new lenses from PinkyParadise, that I got some time ago. It's a pair of Vassen Ruby Red, that I chose to get since my last pair of red lenses had expired and I needed new ones for several looks and cosplays.

And not only I'm going to review these lenses. I also want to inspire you! Lenses can be used for so many purposes, and make such a difference. So I'm gonna show you.

Difference between my natural eye color and the lens color/look/size! Pretty neat huh?

Here are some pictures of me, wearing the lenses for different looks.

Top left, me, how I look normally, but I chose to wear my lenses for my daily look, as a way to make a small, cool change! Lenses doesn't always have to walk hand in hand with lots of fancy makeup or something really special. It just works great for your every day look, whatever color you want!

Top right, me, doing an 'innocent' vampire girl look. Maybe a Halloween look? The red lenses I chose works great for scary or Halloween looks. Vampires, zombies, werewolves or demons, anything really! It gives such a big effect and make you look pretty scary. Darker or lighter red depends on you yourself.

Last picture, below here, is me in cosplay. Cosplay, as you know, is dressing up as a certain character from a game, serie, manga, anime, book or movie. In this picture, I just did a cosplay test with makeup, wig and lenses for the character Nico Yazawa from Love Live!. The character has red eyes, and since you want to look a lot like your character when you cosplay, you might want to wear lenses, like this!

So there are many ways, looks and styles you can use these lenses for, or any circle lenses really!

As for these lenses in particular, these are my thoughts.

The lenses are great for all of the purposes I mentioned. I always have a bit of a trouble finding good lenses that works well for my eye color as my eyes are pretty dark, and therefore even light lenses gets dark. The lenses turned out pretty dark on me, and at some times looking red-ish brown because of it, but I simply think it gives them a more natural. They weren't too big either, and I liked that in particular, as I don't want to appear to have too large eyes with these. They were easy to put in, and didn't dry out very quickly at all, like some lenses do. They adjusted really quickly and fit so well!

* Comfort - 4/5
* Size - 5/5
* Color - 4/5
* Effect - 4/5

So that was it for this time. I hope this review was helpful to some of you who are looking for lenses, or red lenses in particular. If you are curious and want to try it out - don't be afraid to do so! But talk to your optician first, to make sure you can wear lenses, and whether you should have prescription or not. There are great videos on youtube and on lens sites if you need advice for your first time!

Nico Yazawa Wig Review (UNIQSO)

Okay, so I'm so excited about this! Today I got a text saying that I had a package to pick up at the post office, and it turned out that one of the Items in my package was my Nico wig. Some time ago me and some of my friends and I decided that for this summer's Närcon, we wanted to do a LoveLive!-idol group. So we created one, and I will be Nico Yazawa  as she's my favorite. I was looking for a good wig on eBay, not nothing really caught my eye. So I decided to take a look at UNIQSO's website, and why am I even surprised? They had a great looking one!

The Nico Yazawa Wig that I received from UNIQSO was thick and shiny. Not shiny in a plastic way, but in a very lively bom-wow-wow kind of way! The style fits her perfectly, even though the pig tails look too long on me since my head is pretty small... but that is something you have to style for yourself, as every person is different and need a different style, like for all wigs!

I love how soft and good looking this wig is. It's definitely another of UNIQSO's many high quality wigs, and I'm happy to add it to my collection!

Here are some pictures of me wearing the wig after cutting the bangs and putting on makeup and the red lenses. I'M SO IN LOOOVE!

The pony tails are not detachable, but there are wigs like that available at their website.

I recommend this wig to anyone who wants to cosplay Nico, or just want a black pony tail wig! Wigs, lenses, kigurumis, you can get it all at UNIQSO. And you can get 10% off with the code "niisuke" when you order!

Hope you liked this review and that it helped! ^___^

Sweet Hime Castle Review

Sweet Hime Castle is an Etsy online store which sells lovely handmade jewelry, and they specializes in resin. It's perfect for anyone who loves Fairy Kei style and styles alike!
I recently got some items from there, and they are currently some of my favorite pieces! I wanted to show and review these here on my blog, to let you know more about them, if you're interested in this kind of jewelry and fashion.

I think that the darling that made these have been very careful and neat when making these pieces, which are all made out of resin. It's a ring, a clip and a necklace, in different colors.

I wear them when I want to dress up or add some extra cuteness to my daily look. The colors and sparkles are so clear and vivid!

More pictures!

I'm really happy with what I got and I will definitely be ordering stuff from them in them sometime soon! I totally love their adorable, detailed, and handmade goods and the owner is a very sweet person that I wish to support! So go and check out their lovely little store and find yourself your next favorite necklace or clip!~

Upcoming Trip To The UK!

I'm really excited about what's going to happen in only 3 weeks! As some of you may know, I'm going abroad alone for the first time ever. And not just anywhere. I'll be going to the UK! Last year, I was invited to Yorkshire Cosplay Con as a Special Guest. Me and lovely Emily decided that I would be staying with her, so expect some silly videos and lots of derpy selfies during that week!

We will be hosting a Q&A panel together, as well as roam around the convention to say hi and have fun! I might possibly judge one of the competitions as well. It's all very exciting and I'm so happy that I was invited.

I suggest that if you live nearby or are able to, you should definitely get yourself a ticket. I really want to meet as many of you as possible and I'm sure it' gonna be a blast!

I've decided that I won't be cosplaying, or at least I don't think so, but me and Emily will probably dress up really cool and twin or something. But you'll never know!

I went to the Police Station and their office today to get my passport done, since my old one isn't usable anymore. For once I was happy with my picture and I'm getting it next week!

Eeeek, can't wait!

Hope to see some of you guys there!~

Black and Leather - Jack's Girly Outfits ft. Sheinside

 Black Spaghetti Strap Zipper PU Leather Vest

This is a piece of clothing that I usually never would choose to wear outside cosplay, as I'm not confident enough unless it's a costume. But this fake leather top is just so cool, and when I saw it, I wanted it for a Misa Amane outfit! It looks pretty rad, doesn't it? It's comfy, surprisingly enough, and has a stretchy back, adjustable arm straps and a zipper at the front. I really like it and I will definitely use it for my cross plays, like for example Misa! Click the link above to find it on the website!

Here are some pictures of me wearing it as Misa.

Can't wait until summer!

and

The next pieces are some that I actually made an outfit with. It's the leather skirt and a super cozy PIZZA SWEATER. How awesome is that? I thought they would look cute together so I matched it as a summer/spring Misa outfit, even though I'm noy sure if she'd wear a sweater like that... But I love it! The sweater is cosy and soft, and warm and nice, while the leather skirt just looks awesome. You can get them by clicking the links above!

Here are some worn pictures~!

Super happy with these clothes, as usual~
My clothes are like my babies hehe.

UNIQSO Lens Review (Aoba Seragaki Style)

So I'm going to review another pair of lenses as well!

Since my old pair of yellow lenses recently expired I got these once for cosplays and looks such as Aoba, Sinbad vampires and nekos.

These are from UNIQSO as well, like most of my lenses. As you can see above, the name of these are Beuberry Iris Yellow. Beuberry is one of my favorite circle lens brands as they almost always have designs and colors that I like a lot!

These are 15 mm big, and yellow. On my eyes though, that's not too clear as I have a lot of green in them, and they end up looking a big greenish yellow. I'm not too fond of that, but it's not the lenses fault, haha! It's my eye color. I'm looking for more vibrant yellow lenses though, so if you know any, please comment at the end of this blog post.

As you can see they kind of blend in with my eye color. Even though they blend in that much, they make a nice difference though, and I really think they fit for Aoba, so I'm very pleased. They will certainly look really good on people with really bright eyes, I believe! Probably on dark eyed people as well, but my greenish ones didn't really want to cooperate with the color.

My points for these lenses are...

Color: 3/5

Comfort: 4/5

Size: 5/5

You can get your own lenses from UNIQSO, or a wig, kigurumi, makeup, etc, and get 10% off with my discount code "niisuke". Thanks for reading this review and I hope it helped!

UNIQSO Lens Review (Jack Frost Style)

So I decided that I should update my collection of blue lenses as some of mine soon are expiring, and I'm cosplaying a lot of characters with blue eyes. One of them is Jack Frost, so I thought I should take some pictures and show you what my new lenses looks like!
The lenses I will be showing you today are these!

They are from UNIQSO, and you can get the same pair, or basically any other lens, from there. You can even use my discount code "niisuke" to get 10% off any order ^___^

These lenses are really vibrant blue, and I found them easy to put in, and very comfortable once I wore them. They have a good size, not super big, but still enlarging, so it does make a great difference, not only with the color.

I really liked these as they fit so many cosplays of mine, and any character with vibrant, blue eyes. I'm in love with these and I would gladly wear them daily!

The exact size of the lenses are 14.8 mm, which is almost one millimeter larger than most normal contacts.

Here are some pictures when I use them for Jack, even though I'm casually dressed!

I love the match with white and blue, hehe!

Here's my thoughts of these lenses measured in points.

* Color - 5/5

* Comfort - 5/5

* Size - 5/5

So pretty much perfect, to me! I'm very happy about them. Check out their website for more lenses, wigs, makeup and kigurumis!

Thanks for reading, see you~
