Cosplay And Fashion Wigs of May [UNIQSO REVIEW]

I wanna make a quick post about these new wigs that I got from UNIQSO this month!

Lolita Wig G (Short Version)
(DISCOUNT CODE "NIISUKE" = 10% OFF YOUR ENTIRE ORDER)

This wig comes in a long and a short version, and when I saw the shirt version I immediately feel for the cool color mix. The top layer is a dull, greenish grey color, while the base is a cool, "evil" looking green. Now I need to apologize for the picture quality this time, but I had to edit the lighting in a phone app since my Photoshop has crashed...

I cut the wig slightly after receiving it, but I didn't need to do that much honestly. It is a kind of thick wig, with nice texture that is easy to work with, and as I said, I love the color mix.

My friend Luka, has got the same kind of wig but the long version, so I can't wait to take cool twin pictures with him! I love how the style turned out on this one and I can't wait to wear it a lot with cool makeup and dark clothes! I'm not sure if I can figure out a character with this hair, but it does it work as a fashion wig really well!

Shogo Sena (LOVE STAGE!) Wig

Now for some reason I could not find the link or the wig on the website, but this is the Shogo Sena wig UNIQSO have (had?) to offer! It was longer when I got it but I decided to cut it shorter to fit my desires!! The color is BEAUTIFUL, and it's really a nice orange-y ginger like color, and not too unrealistic for me. It looks like a hair color I dyed my hair into years ago. Just like the other wig I just wrote about, this wig had a nice texture and was easy to work with, but this wig was a little softer in it's texture!

This wig had quite a bit of hair so I had to trim it a bit and make it a little thinner to suit my style, but I had no big troubles while doing that and it turned out the way I wanted it to!

As usual, check out UNIQSO for more things such as other wigs, lenses, makeup products, costumes and more!

And also as usual, if you order anything, you can use the discount code "niisuke" to get 10% off your entire order! :)

MY MADAME RED COSPLAY

So this blog post is CRAMPED with pictures of my lastest cosplay, which is MADAME RED!

And, before any of you say, "but that doesn't look like Madame Red's hair, it's wrong!", I will say: I am aware. This is not my Madame Red wig, but I will get one, but right now I haven't got it. So I used my SHARON (Pandora Hearts) Wig from UNIQSO (as usual, discount code "niisuke" = 10% off your purchase at UNIQSO).

I was given the chance to try out one of UNIQSO's many new costumes, that they started selling just a little while ago, and Madame Red was for me an obvious choice. I love her as a character, and this design was so gorgeous I couldn't resist it! And since I have been trusting UNIQSO and their quality for more than a year, I was so happy to give this a try.

I ordered this with express shipping, so it got to me within a week. It was all safely packaged, in plastic bags, to be protected during the shipping.

So let's start showing off the pictures, to see what it looks like!

When you order this costume, this is what you will receive:

* Dress
* Hat
* Long gloves
* Necklace/Choker
* Underskirt/Crinoline

It's available in the sizes S to XL, and the exact measurements are found on the page with the dress and all, so make sure to check it up if you want to order. Me, who's a rather short and thin person, found that the top part was a little bit too wide for me, but I easily fixed that up with some safety pins and a strong will! Also, the bust part was very padded, and for me who go flat chested, found it easy to stuff the chest for a bit of a bust.

Here are some closeups!

The fabric is matte satin, and it's a very comfortable dress. It's a tiny bit heavy since it's so big, and a little hard to move in narrow spaces in, but I thought it was easy to wear, except for some issues with the top sliding down due to me being a little too thin. I could correct that though. Otherwise it fit nicely around my hips and waist. It had a zipper on the back, which I had to close while wearing the dress' back on my stomach, and then turn it around, so if you have help with this dress when you put it on, that's a good thing! It was a little difficult to get it all on myself, but if you're experienced with wearing these kind of dresses and cosplays I'm sure it will be easier.

Everything fits nicely and looks good, every little detail is well made. Here's what the gloves look like! They are tight and just my size!

The back of the dress, where these's a big bow.

Look how POOOOFY the skirt is! It's HUGE really, and I love it. It's all thanks to the crinoline/under skirt that they send to you with this dress!

This is it! It's good because you can fold this and store this somewhere if you need to, and it's easy to wear and put on. I liked the simplicity with it! You tie it around your waist, and voilĂ . Helping your big, fancy dress to stay big and fancy.

I kind of ended up loving this look! It's like, a different character just because of the hair. I felt like a sassy, bitchy, aristocrat lady. The necklace is too perfect, matching this look great, and the hat gives it an extra fancy hint to it! I was surprised that such a big hat was so easy to wear really.

Overall, this is a really good cosplay that I'm so pleased with! Sure, I was a little bit too tiny for it and adjustments has to be made but that happens from time to time. It's high quality, feel great to wear, and I felt so pretty in it. Definitely recommending it.

Nozomi Tojo Candy Maid Photoshoot

So the other day I had a little quick shoot of my latest Love Live costume from SpreePicky, but since we lack good environments right now, it was a quick and very simple one. We're getting props and a better place for next time, and hopefully having my friend join in as Kotori as well!

But I wanted to show you the result, and give you detailed pictures as some of you are interested in my costumes!

I have been debating with myself whether I should cosplay Nozomi or not. I love her as a character, she's charming and hard to read, and we share something in common - BOOBIES. She has them, I... like them. Haha!

I've always thought her Candy Maid look is adorable, and when SpreePicky got it in stock, I didn't really hesitate much. And no regrets, it's so cute!

I felt adorable at once when putting it on!

Items used for this cosplay:
I really loved the colors with this as it's not my typical choice, and it was a challange to make fake boobies! Because you gotta need them boobies for the boob queen! 8D

The costume is a one sized one, and I think it will fit S/M the best, to be honest. The measurements are on their website!

Da... boobies.

I'm actually pretty pleased with the outcome and I can't wait to have a better photoshoot! *^*

Thank you Sebastian for the amazing pictures <3 Go and give CatnipSenpai's facebookpage a like if you feel like it!

If you feel like ordering from SpreePicky or Cospicky, don't you dare to forget that you can get 10% off orders above 30 USD with the code "JACKOCALYPSE"! <3

Thank you for taking for time to read! ^__^

Bilbo Baggins Cosplay Review - CosplaySky.com

So before I went to my England vacation, my lovely and very talented fiancĂ© took some really nice pictures of me in my brand new Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo is one of my favorite characters from the Hobbit, and after seeing the Hobbit movies, I came to like him even in the LOTR movies as well, even if I didn't fancy him much in those earlier. I honestly didn't think I would fit Bilbo - I don't think I look like Martin Freeman at all, in any way. He's an adorably handsome man, and I'm just a baby faced silly lad.

I really wanted to make the costume myself, but I also wanted it before this year's end, for some projects and such. And since my sewing machine isn't my friend at the moment, I sought help from the cosplay company I trust the most - CosplaySky.com

Costume link: Bilbo Baggins Cosplay
(Discount code: "Sky10jh" = 10% off)

I will show you some photos and tell you more about the costume!

What I really like about this costume is that it looks natural. Since it's from a "real life" movie, and not cartoon movies or anime, I wanted my costume to look more like real clothes than a "fake" costume. The fabrics used in this cosplay are all different for each piece of clothing, and they look very much like "real" clothes that you would wear daily, material wise. The buttons, the seems and every little detail makes the outfit become more alive and special. I really felt like a hobbit while wearing it!

(And for those who wants to ask/keep nagging: I got the wig from my fiancé, who got it off eBay. The ears are from eBay as well, and just temporary. OH, and about the hairy feet etc, I couldn't use the usual glue on my feet so I skipped it. I did not forget.)

Here are some closeups from what it looks like, and more detailed pictures of important parts of the costume!

I got my costume in the size female xs, since you can choose male or female sizes, depending on your body type. Since I'm very short and thin, female xs suits me the best. You can check up on their website for every costume, under the little measurements section, to make sure yours will fit, or you can actually get it custom made by entering your own measurements!

The costume was surprisingly comfortable, although I would recommend not wearing it during a hot summer day like I did, haha...! Also I have to say that this was the worst, yet the best photoshoot I've had so far this year. The worst, because I went out barefoot in the woods, and had spiders crawling allover my feet...
(cry cry cry ;;A;; but everything for cosplay, right? Haha!)
The best because of how the pictures turned out! I really love them to bits! This is probably one of my favorite costumes from CosplaySky, after the Lady Ciel costume that I have.

As usual, the shipping was fast, only about 1,5 week after the costumes were finished. Always good if you're in a rush!

I like how this costume totally turned me from Jack to Bilbo in the blink of an eye! This is why I really like the website and their costumes so much.
