CosplaySky.com Review - Loki Laevatein Cosplay

So lately, I've been so obsessed with Kamigami No Asobi. Ever since Sebastian reminded of it earlier this summer I've just been all stuck. If you haven't seen it, you totally should! It's one of many reversed harem animes, like Ouran High School Host Club, Uta No Prince Sama, Diabolik Lovers and so on. One girl, and many, many hot boys. But the good thing about this anime is that the girl, Kusanagi Yui, is not one of those weak, crybabies who can't do anything herself. No, she's so strong and badass, knows how to deal with a sword, she's cheerful, optimistic, smart and very straightforward. She is chosen for the task to teach several gods to learn from the human heart. The god Zeus locks them up in a magical garden and gives them one year to learn it, or they will be stuck there for ever. There are gods such as Balder, Loki, and Thor from Norse mythology, Apollon, Dionysos and Hades from the Greek mythology, the Japanese gods Tsukito and Takeru, and also some Egyptian gods, Anubis and Thoth.

Buuuuut enough about that! 8D

My lovely sponsor CosplaySky.com has sent me another costume (click HERE for the last review), and this time it is the school uniform Loki Laevatein wears in Kamigami no Asobi! I was thinking about making it myself, but since my sewing machine doesn't work the way I want right now, I was happy to get a full costume instead!

Every site that has KNA-cosplays either never have Loki's outfit, or ones that looks bad. I've since maybe one other good Loki-costume online, but that was on eBay and  I didn't trust the seller enough. So when I got the chance to get one of CosplaySky's costumes again, I was thrilled! On top of it all, my darling Fetsu will be cosplaying Yui with me, and in the future, I hope to have more KNA-cosplayers with me. Maybe I'll trick Sebastian into cosplaying Hades, Dionysos, or Balder!

Kamigami No Asobi Ludere Deorum Loki Laevatein Cosplay School Uniform Costume

Anyhow, when you order this, you get:

  • A pair of pants
  • A white shirt
  • A vest
  • A school tie
  • A coat/jacket
I have to start of by saying that this is a cosplay FULL of details. The jacket is self has a lot of different patterns, and there are buttons and stars, candy and, streaks, details everywhere. So it was really nice to open the package and see the amazing work!

I received the costume in size MALE XS. It fits me super well, just like the previous costume I received. I trust their measurement chart, so I get the right size when I pick.

Everything is made out of very good materials. For the basics for the coat, pants and vest for example, it's uniform cloth, just like the Ciel cosplay, and it's a common and very good fabric for cosplays. The details are made in something that reminds me of leather imitation, kind of? The shirt is a cotton one, I believe. Anyhow, it's really comfortable and easy to wear, just like any normal, casual clothes, except that you feel super cool and dressed up as the GOD OF PRANKS!

The coat is my favorite piece. It's very colorful, and has all these patterns allover it. It's nice to wear, and it's very nice as it forms around your body, not at all like some coats that I've had, that are all baggy. And one of the pockets has little ribbon looking candy pieces attached, since Loki always walks around with a lot of sweets and prank stuff.

I loved the shirt a lot, as well, since it was a slim fit design that I felt very comfortable in! It was thin and clear white, and I didn't think it was too tight. It was perfect, actually.

The west was great as well, with small details and big golden buttons that was steadily attached to the fabric. And I like the tie with it's tiny details and the little golden star brooch attached to it (detachable)!

The only thing that is sad is that no matter what size I order, the pants will always be slightly too big for me, due to me being so short. But otherwise, they are great, and in the right color, a very comfortable design, and looks really good.

To be honest it's just perfect, and I could just ramble on and on how much I love it. I'm looking forward to wear at it conventions and a lot of photoshoot, especially since Emily will be my Yui!

I'm really comfortable in this cosplay, I feel confident, and just super happy that I managed to get my hands on one this well-made! I can't wait to have the next photoshoot we have planned in the next few weeks. So if you haven't watched Kamigami, please do, and you'll surely enjoy it! Maybe you'll even want to cosplay from the serie, and then you know exactly where to go. CosplaySky has many different Kamigami-cosplays, and looooads of cosplays from other series, and with great quality!

This costume costs 109$ plus shipping buuuuut... if you choose to go shopping on their website, feel free to enjoy me discount code "sky10jh" for 10% off your order! So you can save a bit of money! ^___^

Also, I have to mention that the shipping is usually very fast, and I got my costume in less than 2 weeks this time!

EzCosplay Review

Splash Free!!

Hello puppies~! Today I'll be writing this little review on a jacket that I got from EzCosplay. I already made a video for it, which you can find just below this text, but I thought I should do a written review as well!

Now this time, as I said, it's about a cosplay jacket. And not any cosplay jacket... An Iwatobi Swim Club jacket!

Free Iwatobi High School Sports Wear

Since I have been cosplaying Nagisa more or less casually, and with a penguin kigurumi, I really thought it was time for a more proper outfit for him. Then why not the actual team jacket?

This jacket really does feel like a real training jacket, and not some weird costume jacket. I couldn't find out the material, but it's really stretchy and comfy! It's actually so comfy I wear it out of cosplay as well...

I got mine in size XS, since well, as you know, I'm both short and thin. And it was just perfect! I fit me so well. Not too tight and not too lose. Which made me really happy. The colors were vivid and the item looked just as described. The details are really well made, such as the red little details on the chest, and all the lines, arm cuffs, etc. The print on the back is really well printed and soft, and seems to be just as high quality as the rest of the jacket. The zipper is a plastic one, which I'm very happy about, since I prefer them, mostly. It's strong and steady and works really well when I open and close the jacket.

Here are pictures of me wearing it.

 Front!

Back!

It comes in various sizes. Everything between XS to XXXL (Some sizes costs extra). You can also get a custom sized jacket for 9.99$ extra!

The price for this jacket is 35.99$ + shipping. The shipping depends on where you live and how fast you want your item, so you can calculate the shipping when you order, to check.

I feel very satisfied with this jacket and I'll gladly wear it when I'm cosplaying Nagisa more in the future! If you're going to cosplaying from Free!, and need a Samezuka or Iwatobi jacket, I definitely recommend EzCosplay. They also have loads of other cosplays, so just check out their website to find out more of them.

This was it for this time, I hope you enjoyed it. Bye~!

GRELLTASTIC

I GOT MY GRELL COSPLAY TODAY. AND I HAVE A NEW GRELL WIG. GUESS WHO IS SUPER EXCITED TO ONCE AGAIN START COSPLAYING ONE OF HIS FAVORITE CHARACTERS. YEP, ME.

No, but seriously. I'm super happy. I have missed cosplaying Grell Sutcliff and awful lot, since she's one of my all time favorite characters. Since I now once again have the full costume, I'm also going to do several photoshoots with new outfits. I already have a school girl outfit for her, and I'm planning much more than that. I'm specifically trying to find a dress for her, a red one of course, so that I and Sebastian can have a really romantic and lovely photoshoot sometime this autumn maybe.

I was actually browsing through my sponsors' website, and found some really gorgeous ones!

Red V Neck Sleeveless Pleated Chiffon Dress

I... rarely wear dresses. But Grell makes me want to do it. Because she would look gorgeous in like, any dress! Sooo beautiful, kyaaa... And I just love these ones. Especially the backless full length dress.

I really hope that I can make her look good if I actually wear a dress like that! It's so exciting neh~! Going to cut the wig tomorrow anyway, so yes. Time for some Animal Crossing before bed.

Night night!~

Sheinside Review #4

Good evening! Today I got more some mail, and I got a t-shirt I've been longing for looooads! And I'm gonna show it to you straight away!

If you ever have used the app "Cat Wang" you will recognize this! There is actually an app with all of these cat heads, texts and such, and I think it's totally charming and cool. I was stuck once I saw that this was in stock, and I had to get it! It was actually so popular it sold out really quickly... ;A;

This is a one-size t-shirt, made out of cotton. It's very colorful with all the printed text, cats, donuts, skateboards and all of that stuff! It's super comfortable, and loose. The sleeve length is 16 cm, and the length of the shirt is 68 cm. Shoulder length 43 cm. It's a round neck, and the prints are very nicely printed into the fabric!

I have been wanting to get into more street style-ish styles, and I kind of think of that when I see this. I love the colors and the contrasts, and just the style of the print.

Make sure to visit Sheinside.com for more fashion!

The shipping took about 9-10 days, and as usual I had a great communication with the sellers!

Thist-shirt costs 15$ (when in stock). If you make an order above 30$ you get free shipping~!

So this was it for this time ^___^ Now I'll be back to writing some cosplay reviews.

See ya!

I'm in MALMĂ–! ♡

Yes guys, hi again!

So yesterday I spent 6 hours on a train, with a back that hurts like HELL, but I finally got to go to Malmö! I have been waiting for months to visit my darling Charlotte and Therese, since we only meet at conventions and so on, so now I'll be staying in Malmö with them for 5 days, before I go to Gothenburg during Saturday to visit Liseberg with my foster family. I'm so excited!

So far, I have spent one day with my darlings, who are cartoonists, creating their own comic Wicked Hero (which I love). We went shopping nice food, I had a low blood pressure/blood sugar drop and fainted due to my back pains at the foodstore, we went home and ate food, and watched 3 scary movies during the night before I passed out at like, 3-4 am, while they kept working on their comic. It's nice and cozy, and I have missed them loads! We've made so much plans, and they inspire to me to do all the writing I want to do again. Start on stories, books, novels, and what not. Keep on going with my and Trici's book project.

It kind of feels like I'm getting vacation? I have been working for so many cons lately, and reviews, and writing stuff, and yeah, just a lot. And even though I've had summer break, it has felt a bit stressful at times. Right now I'm just trying to relax and enjoying being in a new city with two of my best friends!

If I'm out in town in Malmö and you see me, please don't hesitate to say hi! I hear waaay to often how all of you cuties say "I saw you but I didn't dare to say hi". I'm not dangerous, I'm actually quite nice ahaha! But if you're shy, it's ok. Just know that I love saying hi to you all. ^__^

Well, I'm going back to bed to watch the last episode of Kamigami no Asobi, and treat my back somewhat with a hot wheatpillow. I have a really cosy bed to sleep in hear, so I'm happy.

Bye for now darlings~

CosplaySky.com Ciel/Drocell Costume Review

I wanted to talk to you about another cosplay I recently added to my cosplay collection!

It's another Ciel Phantomhive (Kuroshitsuji) cosplay actually! Or, it is usually sold as a Ciel costume when you see it in online stores, but it's actually an outfit for the character Drocell. It's not in the anime, and I don't think it's in the manga, but it's in one of Yana's collections.

It doesn't really matter too much though, since it honestly looks like something Ciel would wear, and the design is just so cool and fancy that I have to say it one of my favorite cosplay outfits.

Black Butler Ciel Phantomhive Cosplay

What you get when you order this cosplay is:

Jacket
Shirt
Shorts
Skirt
Hat
Bow Tie
Cross Chain

When you order it, you get to choose between many different sizes, both male and female sizes. I believe mine is a Male XS. You can also choose "custom made" size, to get the costume customized for you. I always have a tough time finding the right size, since male sizes always are too big for me in one way or another, considering that's I'm kinda short and skinny. But this one actually fit me really well! There are a measurement chart next to the costume if you click the link!

The material is made from is uniform cloth, and cotton. I think it's comfy to wear, and the funny thing was that I wore it during one of Närcon's warmest days and I didn't really die from heat, so it's not that hot and thick, really? It's really good quality though, and feel nice to wear and walk around in. The jacket was slightly lose, since I'm so skinny, but I fixed that easy by taking a bow from my other Ciel cosplay and attach it at the back to pull fabric together. And then it looked even better!

I think the costume is really well made and has a lot of details. I found no effects or whatsoever when I checked the costume, like I always do. The fabric is strong, and the sewing was really greatly done, and I just think it's really, really nice quality.

The top hat!

I couldn't really use the top hat though, because of my small head. It wanted to slide in different directions and was just hard to wear. It's super cute though, so I'll figure something out to do with it. I also skipped the skirt, since I figured shorts was just enough. But I will be using it for school uniform cosplays... hehe. I already have pans for school-version of Grell! You'll see some pictures of that in the near future! Now when I'm getting back to cosplaying that perfect redhaired Shinigami I just want to take loads of different kind of pictures since she (yes, it's a she, considering that she calls herself a woman, even though she's biologically a man. Respect it.) is just one of my favorite characters and I love her loads.

The price for this costume is 119$ + shipping. And to be honest, it's really worth it, since it's such a great and high quality costume. I totally trust CosplaySky.com, and I think that this far, it's my most favorite cosplay site.

Here are some pictures of me in the costume, taking by my friend Beatrice W Thiger!

Also, you can use the code "sky10jh" to get a 10% discount off your purchase when you order anything from their store!

I hope you guys have a great week. Don't forget to check this site out if you want to buy a costume, or know someone who does. See you in my next blog post!

Secret Upcoming Project

I just had a really bad night. I fell asleep early last night, so I kept waking up all the time, as if I was stressed or something, because I still felt tired. I had weird, stressful dreams, and every time I woke up I thought I had missed doing something important, which I hadn't. It's annoying really... and things aren't going to well for people I care a lot about, which is sad as well. I want to help everyone, but I can't... Uguu ;; - ;;

Today is going to be a good day. I have decided that. I will be making a updated room tour video, since my room is looking completely different now, compared to 5 months ago! I have so much new stuff, and furniture, and yes, very differently from when I moved into my foster family's home.

I might also be going to Beatrice's place later today, to do some filming and such. We actually have a secret project coming up!
As if it wasn't enough that we are best friends and writing partners, we will soon have a new project together, for us to announce to you guys soon. It's gonna be so much fun, and it's so exciting to be working with a  friend like this again. She always cheers me up and makes me feel better about myself.

I'll be editing more videos today, I think, since I uploaded a new one yesterday. It's a new makeup video, that I'd be happy if you wanted to check out! This time it's Loki Laevatein, from Kamigami no Asobi! I only have the wig and lenses yet, but CosplaySky.com is sending me the school uniform, so it will arrive sometime this month. I might get to wear it at Peppcon, or at least have a photoshoot sometime before school starts again.

The summer heat is lovely, but it's making it hard for me to have fun with clothes, since many of my clothes are thick and warm... but I'm trying! My makeup use to melt from how hot it is, lately.

I hope all of you puppies are alright! See you! <3
