MinkyShop Review - Playsuit, shoes and mittens

Okay so I'm here to tell you about these new gorgeous pieces that I received in the mail the other day! It's a super sweet playsuit, a pair of lolita shoes, and a surprise: Mittens! It all came in a package from Minky Shop, an online shop that sells tons of  cool fashion. They sell items related to various different styles.

So this time I was looking for something that I usually don't wear, and I happened to stumble upon this super cute piece!

This is a one size piece, that currently just is available in white, but used to be available in pink earlier. I have no idea if it will be restocked in that color, but keep your eyes open or send them an email if you want to know!

There are measurements and other pictures if you want to see, so click on the link above.

This piece is perfect for hot weather and summer. Underneath the skirt, there are shorts, and it's all in one piece so you don't have to bother about that! You tie it up in the back of your neck, there's a corset at the back, and a zipper in the side, all to fit well and be comfortable for you.

It's pure white, with golden details, which naturally gives quite a luxurious feeling, really. I liked how well it went with my platinum blond wig! It felt girly, cute, summer-ish, and well, yes, FAB.

The playsuit is made out of a rather durable fabric, feels nice to wear and easy to move around with. There are little cute details everywhere.

I decided to wear it with tattoo star tights, and my new lolita shoes!

So I also got these lovely lolita platform shoes in white and pink, covered with hearts and bows! They are very typical cute lolita shoes, that matches a wide range of outfits and styles, not only lolita.

The platforms is about 8 cm high at the back, and about 4 cm high at the front. It has ancle straps that keeps your shoes steady on your feet, and they are easy to open and close with hidden little click buckle, so you don't have to loosen the straps every time you take off your shoes. Practical, isn't it?

I found them easy to walk in, but I want to be careful when I wear them, as I don't want them to get dirty or anything. These are my precious babies now!

At their website, they are available in different colors and sizes!

These were a surprise sent to me, that I did not expect! They are so cute, fluffy and warm! Who doesn't need some cuddly mittens for cold winter weather. I've seen these in many different colors, but mine are white, pink and yellow. Knitted, warm mittens, do I need to say more? The bunnies on top are like stuffed plushies, which is totally adorable.

Will wear these a lot this winter!

Thank you for reading! I hope it helped you some. I'm very happy about these items, and I thought the service was excellent, the shipping really fast. Just a little longer than a week, I think. I hope to order from MinkyShop again, sometime in the future!

Everydaywigs.com Review - Lacefront wig for Daenerys

So a few days ago, I got my very first lace front wig! It is meant to be for my future Daenerys (Game of Thrones) cosplay, that I'm really looking forward to!

A lace front wig is made to look very much like real hair, and to create a fake natural hairline. This is good if you want to get a more realistic look. A lot of people thought this was my real hair! It looks really great, and it was super comfortable and light weight. It wasn't tight or anything, and the hair was so wavy and nice in texture!

Wig link: Edw175 (Discount code "Jack" gives 5% off)

Check out these pictures of me wearing it!
It's yet not styled for Daenerys but I will fix that in time.

So how thick and full this wig is! Flowing like platinum waves! I love it!

It goes well with any clothing, I noticed, and especially with darker eyebrows and red lips. It's a new favorite! It's so practical that you can change the style very easily, and I don't doubt that I could use this for Elsa from Frozen if I just made a few tiny changes.

I feel like I'm in some hair product commercial because it looks so flawless, haha!

The whole wig is really nice quality and feels strong and easy to handle. I haven't had any troubles with tangling so far, and it stays in a nice style naturally.

I recommend this for cosplay, or just every day use really. I'm way too much in love with this wig already!

There should be a video up about it tomorrow night, hopefully.

Chuu, you guys!

Nico Yazawa Cheerleader [Love Live!] Cosplay Review

So today I finally managed to get some decent photos taken of one of my new cosplays! It's another Love Live! one, this time it's Nico, and her cheerleader uniform! It's super cute and I have wanted it for a very long time, and I'm so happy that I managed to get one like this!

Cosplay: http://goo.gl/UTCkJj
(discount code: "Jackocalypse" 5% off your purchase)
Wig: http://goo.gl/nul71b
(discount code: "Niisuke" = 10% off your purchase)

The cosplay itself is from HarajukuInWonderland, and it includes following items:

2x hairbows
1 top
1 skirt
2x gloves
2x kneehigh socks
1 bow (for the skirt)

The sore has all the girls' cheerleader uniforms and much more, and this one is available in the sizes M-L. I'm usually a size XS or S depending on what kind of clothes it is, but M suited me just perfectly, and I wouldn't have been able to fit in a smaller size!

It's made in different kind of fabrics, so the gloves, top and socks are made in the same kind of thin, stretchy fabric, while the bows and the skirt is made from a more firm, and thicker cotton fabric. The colors and prints are very vivid and clear, and nicely made! All security pins and other attachments are securely attached and everything feels strong and endurable. And here are pictures of me wearing it!

With the skirt, you get a plastic piece to insert inside of the inbuilt petticoat like skirt, so you can use it as a crinoline, and give the skirt another kind of shape. I thought it was a smart idea and very cute! But I definitely suggest that you wear safety shorts underneath unless you want to flash your underwear, haha!

Have some details as well!

The outfit looks very accurate to me, and the clothes are comfortable and nice quality! I really like what it feels like when I wear it!
So if you like this cosplay, there's a lot more to find at their store Harajukuinwonderland.com!
As I said earlier, they have all the cheerleader uniforms, and a lot of other cosplays, wigs and clothes. If you have seen my latest Aoba wig, that's from the same shop!
Link to the review HERE.

What I really like about this store is that they care about making good prices and want to offer really good quality, for cosplayers!

When you order from HarajukuInWonderland you can get a 5% off using the code "jackocalypse" during checkout! ^__^

Please feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions or anything!
Soon there will be a video up about this cosplay as well, and a lot more photos! I will be bringing this costume to Närcon!

WigIsFashion Review - Grey Mixed Pink Pastel Ombre Fashion Wig

So many have been asking where I got my beautiful grey mixed wig from, so here is a helpful review with some details and better photos!

This wig is from an online store called WigIsFashion. They offer a big variety of wigs, such as cosplay wigs, normal "everyday wigs", extensions and lace front wigs! They even have human hair wigs ((O^O))!

Wig link:
Long Curly Grey Mixed Pink Pastel Ombre Fashion Synthetic Hair Wig

I went with this cool multicolored wig, in silver, dark grey and lively dark pink! It's a heat resistant syntethic wig, which is wavy and about 65 cm long. You can change the style quite a bit, and when you order it, the fringe is originally longer and more of a side fringe! I cut mine like this as I prefer it that way.

I went with this wig because of the color mix that I fell in love with, and because I thought it would be cool for gothic styles. It turns out it fits pretty much all of my styles! Darker styles, pastel styles, casual "normal" styles, yeah, all I could think of!

I've never owned a wavy wig that doesn't tangle and drive me insane, but so far, surprisingly enough, this has not been troubling me at all! I can't say it's tangle free, but due to it's style, the tangling has been MINIMAL! Love that!

Here are some pictures.

Love the gradient color kind of thing!

I think it's a comfortable wig. It's rather "big", with the hair being all poofy and floofy! It will look so cute when I put it in ponytails and styles like that. It also reminds me of mermaid hair and I can't wait to have a mermaid photoshoot with this wig!

If you are looking for wigs like this, or wigs with great quality, you can find a ton of them at Wigisfashion.com! You can get a little discount when you order, if you use the code "Jackocalypse" through checkout!

I hope this review was useful to you, and feel free to leave a comment on this post!

Lolita_Kawaiishoes Review

Hello darlings! I have some sweeeeeet princessy things to show you this time, and they are from Lolita_Kawaiishoes at Storenvy!

It's another lovely store which sells a lot of clothes and accesoaries matching with the japanese popular culture and fashion that I'm very much into. They have a lot of super cute stuff, and their shop is especially overflowing with adorable pastel clothes and princessy stylish things, so yes, go on a little treasure hunt there!

So first off I want to show you the...

This dress is a lolita style dress, that comes either in white and pink, or white and lilac. The sizes are S, M and L, and you can find the correct measurements if you click on the dress link!
I went with pink in size S since I'm tiny, and pink is my favorite color!
As you can see, size S fits me really well. I'm quite short (155 cm), so I almost always go with the smallest sizes possible.
The dress has a lot of adorable little details, and it's cherry blossom/Sakura themed. The print is lighter colored and looks like beautiful cherry blossoms. The buttons on the front and at the sleeves are also shaped like cherry blossoms, and are made from pink, transparent plastic! Except those details, there are white lace a little here and there, at the bottom of the skirt, at the end of the sleeves, at the collar and the front part. At the back, you tie it together to tighten it with bands, into a ribbon. There's a zipper and a small button. It's really comfortable, surprisingly enough, and with my petticoat underneath it got so poofy and pretty!

Back and front!

Details!

But what else could you need to match a beautiful dress like this...?

... shoes of course!

These are some pink lolita shoes with a short but cute heel, and it's covered in hearts and bows! It can fit this super nice lolita look, or a more casual "kawaii" outfit. They come in 3 colors - pink, black and beige, and the sizes are EU size 35-39! To find your correct size, please measure your feet before ordering!

These fit me really well, and my feet are about 23 cm/EU size 36. They have ancle straps that you can adjust to your liking to make them fit you comfortably. I liked these a lot, because sinze the heels aren't too high, they don't hurt my feet as much as my high heels. Also they look rather "innocent" like this, and even though I'm very fond of high heels, I'm now stuck to these darlings because ahh, cute!

I will spam with some pictures!

So far, as I've tried them, they don't seem to fragile. I can walk around in them without any trouble, and they don't come off or feel weird. They are somewhat (super slightly) loose, but not enough to make things difficult. It's all about size and your feet!

I'm very pleased with both of these, as well as a little clip that I got, but I forgot to bring it with me on my vacation to take photos. Bleh. But you can find it here!

3 Colors Kawaii Angel Clip

If you want to go and order something from their storenvy, feel free to use the code "jackocalypse" to get 10% off your order! ^^ They also have a new store, so if you click HERE you will get there!

Thanks for reading dear darlings! I hope this may help for any of you who are in need of some cute new clothes or shoes~!
