The Boy Who Drank Stars Look + UNIQSO Wig Review

New wig!

I got this wig from UNIQSO.com, thinking that it would be great for my short haired Sophie hatter cosplay, with a little bit of styling. This wig is ANGELIC. It's so gorgeous and pure! The style is so cute by itself, the texture is soft and the color is so clean and beautiful!

It's a 35 cm long silver-white wig, that is heat resistant, and normally thick. This is a very easy wig to wear both for cosplay or daily/fashion purposes. I wore this wig for a Shironuri inspired look a while back, and I braided little flowers into it, so there's a lot of possibilities if you are just creative enough!

Here's more pictures of me wearing the wig, also from different angles.

The makeup I'm wearing for this photos, are inspired by the quote "the boy who drank stars", from the story Howl's Moving Castle. I was originally just going to do a quick test for Sophie Hatter, but this was way more fun!

The lenses used for this look, is UNIQSO's own brand Sweety, and these specifically is Sweety Nudy 3 Tones Brown!

I am really in love with this wig! It's perfect for more than one purpose, it's pretty, comfortable and I haven't found a single thing I don't like about it so far. This is definitely going to be a well-used wig!

Remember that if you want to buy anything from UNIQSO, whether it's lenses, wigs, costumes or beauty products/skin care, you can get 10% off with the code "niisuke"!

Sweety Nudy Ice Blue Circle Lens Review

So today I received a package I wasn't expecting just yet and I had some extra time after fixing up at home, so I decided to take some photos of these new pretty lenses!

Recently, I heard that UNIQSO had their own brand of lenses - the Sweety line! As I'm hooked on blue lenses, I wanted to try a pair of nice, cool blue ones. As there were many to choose from, I had a bit of trouble deciding, but in the end, I went with Sweety Nudy Ice Blue

They didn't come in the ordinary glass vials, like most of my other circle lenses, but in these practical, flat plastic containers, like my normal contacts! As usual, they came with a cute little lens case to keep them in. This time I got a pink one, yes!

I was also happy to find out that they sent me a super cute face mask, which I gladly will be trying out this weekend or so. It looks so funny and I've seen my friends try it, so I guess it's my turn as well!

Rawr!

I have a rather mixed eyecolor, that goes between green,  blue and grey, with little tiny spots within the iris. So sometimes it's hard to find a lens that gives a great "coverage" over my natural color, and at the same time blends. But I have to say I'm very pleased with the results of these!

One eye with lens, one without.
Both lenses in!

I think they are kind of "mildly" intense, and they give me a nice blue look. As they blend with my natural eye color a bit, you get a hint of green as well. They are 14.5 mm big, so they clearly give you a little bit of enlargement, and that small difference is enough for me. I happened to go with a blue eyeshadow today, before I even knew they were going to be at my place, and I think it looks really good and really takes out the blue even more!

So now I'll just spam you with selfies of when I wear them as I'm really pleased haha~!

They were just as comfortable as lenses should be and so far I haven't had any issues with them being dry or irritating my eyes.

If you liked these, I suggest you go and check out the rest of the Sweety Series and see if you can find one that you will love yourself! If you use the code "niisuke" during checkout, you will get 10% off your purchase as well! Always worth it if you save some money, right?

Thanks for reading, I hope this was helpful to you!

PinkyParadise Review - Vassen Ruby Red

More than one way

So today I will be reviewing my new lenses from PinkyParadise, that I got some time ago. It's a pair of Vassen Ruby Red, that I chose to get since my last pair of red lenses had expired and I needed new ones for several looks and cosplays.

And not only I'm going to review these lenses. I also want to inspire you! Lenses can be used for so many purposes, and make such a difference. So I'm gonna show you.

Difference between my natural eye color and the lens color/look/size! Pretty neat huh?

Here are some pictures of me, wearing the lenses for different looks.

Top left, me, how I look normally, but I chose to wear my lenses for my daily look, as a way to make a small, cool change! Lenses doesn't always have to walk hand in hand with lots of fancy makeup or something really special. It just works great for your every day look, whatever color you want!

Top right, me, doing an 'innocent' vampire girl look. Maybe a Halloween look? The red lenses I chose works great for scary or Halloween looks. Vampires, zombies, werewolves or demons, anything really! It gives such a big effect and make you look pretty scary. Darker or lighter red depends on you yourself.

Last picture, below here, is me in cosplay. Cosplay, as you know, is dressing up as a certain character from a game, serie, manga, anime, book or movie. In this picture, I just did a cosplay test with makeup, wig and lenses for the character Nico Yazawa from Love Live!. The character has red eyes, and since you want to look a lot like your character when you cosplay, you might want to wear lenses, like this!

So there are many ways, looks and styles you can use these lenses for, or any circle lenses really!

As for these lenses in particular, these are my thoughts.

The lenses are great for all of the purposes I mentioned. I always have a bit of a trouble finding good lenses that works well for my eye color as my eyes are pretty dark, and therefore even light lenses gets dark. The lenses turned out pretty dark on me, and at some times looking red-ish brown because of it, but I simply think it gives them a more natural. They weren't too big either, and I liked that in particular, as I don't want to appear to have too large eyes with these. They were easy to put in, and didn't dry out very quickly at all, like some lenses do. They adjusted really quickly and fit so well!

* Comfort - 4/5
* Size - 5/5
* Color - 4/5
* Effect - 4/5

So that was it for this time. I hope this review was helpful to some of you who are looking for lenses, or red lenses in particular. If you are curious and want to try it out - don't be afraid to do so! But talk to your optician first, to make sure you can wear lenses, and whether you should have prescription or not. There are great videos on youtube and on lens sites if you need advice for your first time!

Thanks for reading! Bye bye chuuu~

LensCircle Review - Whiteout Lenses

 So I'm back with another lens review! It's been quite a while, isn't it?

For the second time, I'm reviewing lenses from LensCircle. They are a reliable online store which sells normal circle lenses in different colors, but also special effects lenses, such as the ones I'm going to be reviewing today! With every order, they send you the lenses, and a cute little soft bag to put your lens case in!

Here's there logo, which you might recognize!

The lenses I got was for a Halloween makeup, but the mail services messed it up before, and therefore I didn't get them until a couple of weeks after Halloween. But last time the shipping was fast, and I could do other Halloween looks, so it didn't matter too much. now I got the time to do the one I wanted anyway!

Lenses: Whiteout lenses

Size and effect

These lenses are 14.0 millimeter. 14-14.2 is the size of my normal contacts. So these lenses are not for size, but effect! The color of these are clear white, which gives you an insane and creepy look, covering up basically all of your iris, only showing your pupil and a tiny bit of the iris, which is only visible from up close.

Comfort and vision
These lenses were easy to put in (if you have the experience to put in lenses of course), and they were rather comfortable actually! I didn't feel them, just a little while after I put them in, which all lenses should be like. For a while, when I forgot I had them in, I scared quite a few people, haha! I had no trouble with my vision either. They didn't blurr my sight or anything. Super great!
Video where I use these lenses:

I really recommend this site and these lenses if you want some cool or creepy lenses, or any circle lenses at all! I have another pair of lenses from the same store and that my black circle lenses that you've seen me wearing, for example in my pink princess video!

So take your time to visit their site.
The service and communication is also great!
Thank you so much for reading, lovelies!
